Community Health Awareness Day

Community Health Awareness Day

11 Oct 2018 - CIMB Foundation along with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) of Malaysia, organised a Community Health Awareness Day today at Linton University College. The event was opened for all staff and students of Linton and its Affiliated Colleges as well as the public, in which Linton hosted the event at their premise and provided shuttle service for the public to ease their journey to attend this event.

The day started of with an awareness briefing on General health, emphasising on the precautionary measures that should be taken to ensure the kidneys are in a healthy condition. The talk also touched on the works NKF is involved in, in building awareness within the community and ways on how each citizen can help the society through their foundation.

FREE Health Screening was provided thereafter with many awaiting their turn for blood pressure test, urine test, cholesterol check, blood glucose test, BMI calculation, and counselling on how to reduce risk for diabetes, heart and kidney failure.

Linton is proud to have collaborated with CIMB Foundation and NKF in bringing this opportunity to the people of Mantin.
