Credit towards qualifications offered at Legenda may be granted to applicants with qualifications from other recognized educational institutions, including colleges, polytechnics and universities.
Procedures
1. Application for Admission
In order to apply for admission into Legenda Education Group, please complete the International Student Admission Form (download here) and submit with the following documents:
Certified copies of your academic qualification(s) with a certified translated copy in English (if applicable)
- A certified copy of evidence of your English language proficiency (if applicable)
- 8 passport size photographs
- 1 photocopy of passport (all pages)
- Completed Medical Report Form which has been endorsed by a registered physician
- Syllabus or course outline of your previous qualification(s) to claim for exemption (if applicable).
- Initial payment of RM 2,500 (USD 820) as Application Fee, Student Visa, Registration Fee and Medical Insurance, to be made payable to ‘Kolej Linton Sdn Bhd’ by bank draft or telegraphic transfer.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) (for students from Sub Sahara Africa only; endorsed by the Ministry of Education in your country)
2. Telegraphic Transfer Details
You can opt to bank in cheques directly or via telegraphic transfer (tt). The bank account details are as follows:

Once the deposit/transfer is made, you must fax the deposit or TT receipt to number: +6 06 758 7888 with the following information for the university’s further action and records:
- Student’s name
- Passport number
- Course title
- Payment details
Upon receiving the receipt and required information, and also after verifying payment has been credited into the College’s bank account, the College will send to you an official receipt for the payment received.
3. Admission Letter
Once the Application Form has been received with complete documentation and payment, the letter of offer and payment receipt will be issued and sent to you within 2 weeks.
Applicants are required to meet the College’s minimum level of entry.

- Miscellaneous charges include utilities, security, maintenance, cleaning and other amenity services.
- Monthly utility charges are capped at RM25 per student for electricity and RM10 for water usage. Any excess amount will be shared by and charged to all student occupants of each apartment on a monthly basis.
- Fees in USD are based on the current exchange rate of RM3.00 to USD1.00.
- Any exchange rate induced gains or losses shall be credited or debited to the student’s account with Linton University College/Jati Institute/Legenda College/Institute of Medical Sciences Mantin (IMM).
- Linton University College, Jati Institute, Legenda College and Institute of Medical Sciences Mantin (IMM) reserve the right to alter its fees without prior notification.
- Fees are applicable to new students registering for the Year 2011 academic session from 1st July 2011 onwards.
- The above course fees include standard single room accommodation (without air conditioning) for each year. For air-conditioning option, students are required to pay upfront RM 1,800 (USD 600) per year, maintenance fee of RM 600 (USD 200) per year and a refundable deposit of RM 500 (USD 170). For 3-room apartment (with air conditioning in 1 room), the fee payable upfront is RM 4,800 (USD 1,600) per year x duration of studies, maintenance fee of RM 600 (USD 200) per year and a refundable deposit of RM 1,000 (USD 335).
