Student Support

In line with our commitment to provide a conducive environment for learning, Kolej Universiti Linton offers a wide range of pastoral care, welfare and support services to make the college life of students not only a worthwhile academic learning experience but also one that is socially enriching for students. Students will be able to adapt and acclimatise quickly and effectively to the new environment.

Specialised student service units are established to focus on key areas.

Mentor/”Mentee” System

All students at Legenda are assigned a mentor who will constantly monitor the individual student’s academic progress. Students who encounter difficulty in coping with their studies are placed under the pastoral care of the mentors who provide extra tutorial and academic counselling sessions.

Counselling & Career Guidance Services

Legenda offers individual counselling services to any student who require personal advice and guidance in the areas of emotional health, stress, studies related matter, time management, relationship issues and others.

Graduate Placement

The Graduate Placement unit assists participating corporations to identify suitable jobs and training opportunities for our undergraduates and graduates. It also organizes workshops for graduating students to learn finer points of preparing resumes, attending job interviews and selecting jobs and careers.

International Office

This unit looks after the welfare of international students and provides services such as airport pick up, visa renewal, counselling, and placement in a course of study after the initial English language proficiency course.

Hostel Administration

This department oversees registration and tends to the housekeeping and maintenance of our hostel facilities. It regulates the 4,300 apartments which are capable of housing 25,000 student.

Clinics

Students requiring minor medical treatment can visit the clinics located within the campus which are staffed by qualified nurses.

24-Hour Security

The security and safety of our students in the campus and accommodation units are ensured throughout the day by the presence of security personnel.

An international cafe

Serving a variety of Western and local food and beverages can also be found within the campus.
