The Student Affairs Department (STAD) in collaboration with the Students Representative Council and other Clubs/Societies will be organizing the “Charity Week 2013”. The details are as follows:

In conjunction with the event, the Student Affairs Department will have a donation drive and encourages all staff/students to donate items for the less fortunate. The contribution drive for the Charity Fund will include all usable items but must be in good condition as listed below:

• Monetary contribution/donation
• Used books in good condition
• Canned or Packed Food Items i.e. Rice, Sardines, Sugar, Flour, etc.

The project has been tailored specially to instill awareness, knowledge and understanding of various plight faced by people in Malaysia and how we could help to make the difference in their lives.

Office 365 account allows access your school email. Continue to use Microsoft Outlook Web App or Microsoft Outlook to view and send email from your school account, but sign in at http://mail.leg.edu.my. You will use the same user name and password.

Personal Microsoft Account

Personal Microsoft account allows access to SkyDrive, Messenger, and other Microsoft services. Use the same user name and password to access this account that was used to access Live@edu. Note that MIS Department no longer administers this account. As a result, we cannot reset the password.

Use https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx to reset the password for your personal account after the upgrade. Sign into SkyDrive (https://skydrive.live.com) using your existing Live@edu user name and password.

If you use Internet Explorer 7 or earlier, you will need to upgrade to a newer version of Internet Explorer.
If you use Microsoft Outlook to read your email and use Microsoft Office 2003 or earlier, you will need to upgrade to Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010 to continue using Outlook.

The Students Representative Council (SRC) functions are as a platform for the new council members to fight for the students right especially for their development of competency, leadership, character and welfare, to foster sense of loyalty, cooperation that surpass racial and national boundaries among the students and also as a mediator representative to liaise and communicate with the management in identifying students problems.

The Students Representative Council 2013 result are as follows:

There are 3 trial runs available now in the library for online journals and report. The journals cover multidisciplinary fields. You may directly access into it, without username and password requested. The trials will be ended on 8th February 2013 (Friday).

The process for this year’s election is as follows:

GENERAL CONSTITUENCY: PRESIDENT/VICE-PRESIDENT/SECRETARY/ TREASURER

The purpose of the SRC is to assist the College in organising student activities and to promote understanding and harmony amongst students. It also helps to stimulate students’ intellectual, social and communication skills.

Programmes organised by the SRC enrich students’ competitiveness, social and interpersonal skills. It provides students with a more holistic approach towards education and builds stronger self-confidence for their future endeavours.

The elected members will be representing Legendarians on all matters relating to student’s welfare, sporting and co-curricular activities. Members of the Council will be responsibled in initiating, organising and supervising activities with prior approval of the College.
