Agents Exploring Places For Students From Kazakshtan

KUALA LUMPUR – Six Kazakhstan education agents are here to explore places for students from the central Asian country to study in Malaysia.

The delegation from the Kazakhstan Association of Education Agents (KAEA), who are here from March 6 to 13, is visiting Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Multimedia University, USCI University, Lim Kok Wing University, UCTI, Legenda Education Group and Asia e-University.

The visit is organised by the Exporters Club of Malaysia.

Club president Abdul Kabur Ibrahim said in a statement here today that there were now almost 1,000 students from Kazakhstan studying in Malaysian universities and colleges compared with only six students four years ago.

Olga Pluzhnikova, manager of the Linguistic Centre, Kazakhstan, said the KAEA was set up to establish cooperation with Malaysian education institutions in sending their students to Malaysia. – BERNAMA
