Assessment
Assessment is based on a combination of coursework and examinations. Coursework may include case study analysis, essays, reports, skills portfolio, financial model construction and project presentations. Degree classifications are based on performance in the second and third level modules, with third level modules being more heavily weighted.

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Qualification

Upon completion of the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Accounting & Finance degree, students are eligible for exemptions from a maximum of 9 papers offered in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification. It is anticipated that this will be extended to the Legenda Education Group but this is subject to final approval from ACCA. In addition, the course enables students to develop skills and knowledge that will help graduates prepare for the ACCA Level 3 examinations

Any one of the following qualifications:

1. Pass STPM / GCE ‘A’ Level with 2 principals including any one of the following subjects and credit Mathematics in SPM;

a) Accounting
b) Business Studies
c) Economics

2. Pass relevant Foundation / Matriculation programme from recognized institutions*;
3. Pass relevant Diploma or HND programme from other PHEI with Standard Minimum certified or Accredited*;
4. Pass SMIII (UEC) with minimum 5Bs*;
5. Other equivalent qualifications and credit Mathematics in SPM recognized by Malaysian Government*.

All international students from a country in which English is not used as the medium of instruction in formal education are required to meet the following English language requirements:

1. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): minimum score of 550 (PBT) or 213 (CBT) or 79 – 80 (iBT)
2. International English Language Testing System (IELTS): minimum overall Band 6.
3. Malaysian University English Test (MUET) : minimum Band 6.

The test must be taken no more than two years before the start of your studies at Legenda.
