The aims of the programme are to provide:

  1. A structure that provide graduates with a thorough grounding in accounting and the concepts that underlay it.
  2. A structure that allows students to develop a broad and detailed understanding of the requirements of financial reporting, auditing, taxation and finance, including the broader regulatory, social and legal framework, and an understanding of current issues
  3. A programme designed to develop students’ conceptual understanding and technical competence in managerial accounting, and an understanding of current issues
  4. A programme designed to promote an appropriate awareness of information technology and competence in its use

Entry Requirements

Any one of the following qualifications:

  1. Pass STPM/CGE ‘A’ Level with 2 principals or with minimum CGPA ≥ 2.0;
  2. Pass relevant Diploma / Higher National Diploma (HND) / Matriculation / Foundation programme from Kolej Universiti Linton or other institutions recognized by Malaysian Government*;
  3. Pass SMIIII (UEC) with minimum 5Bs*;
  4. Other equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government*;

English Language Requirements

  1. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with minimum overall Band 6; or
  2. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with minimum score of 550; or
  3. Cambrige or Edexcel GCE ‘A’ Level; or
  4. Equivalent intensive English course conducted by Kolej Universiti Linton.
