Any one of the following qualifications:

1. A Degree qualification from Kolej Universiti Linton;
2. Pass other equivalent Bachelor’s Degrees from local or foreign institutions*;
3. Other equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government*;

English Language Requirements

1. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with minimum overall Band 6; or
2. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with minimum score of 550 (213 for CBE; 80 for IBE); or
3. Equivalent intensive English course conducted by Kolej Universiti Linton.

Applicants will also be required to meet the University standard for competence in English language and will be expected to hold GCSE or equivalent grade C in English or a IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.

With more and more employers recognising MBA as a “currency” in the human resources marketplace, graduates are expected of career development opportunities where rewarding roles and attractive financial incentives await them.

Linton’s MBA has been designed in such a way that it takes into account all the critical knowledge and skills demanded by outstanding managers today. These include proficiencies such as those possessed by eminent strategists, people-oriented leaders, effective communicators, problem solvers and decision-makers. Together with the wide yet in-depth knowledge of essential business tools and concepts, these qualities allow the MBA graduates to outperform and create a competitive disadvantage on others. Compared to other professionals, graduates will have fast career progression to senior management level, board level or specialised consulting positions within the range of business and industry sectors. Linton’s MBA is a learner-centric and adult-oriented programme. It offers not only a balance between theory and practice but also knowledge and skills. Innovative teaching methods such as interactive lectures, real world case studies, active discourses, role plays, simulations, collaborative projects, and experiential learning are employed depending on the nature of the modules. Whenever possible, industry experts will be invited to share their practical experiences.

Students are able to challenge academic theory and apply them to real-world business problems, thereby sharpening their analytical and decision making skills. The small class size allows the instructors to provide individual attention to each and every student, empowering them to learn to their greatest potential.

Successful managers are those who solve problems and make decisions scientifically based on the findings of research. Guided by this, the dissertation is a testament of students’ ability to put knowledge and skills that they have learnt into one significant written document. At Linton, they will be guided by instructors who themselves have rich research background. A wide range of possible topics for research will be offered with particular emphasis on practical elements of business and management functions. This is to provide students with opportunity to reflect upon their overall experience and ideas to bring about contributions to knowledge building. The module has been structured in such a way that they will have sufficient time to work on their research project, be it quantitative or qualitative in nature.

Linton’s MBA focuses on both the structure and content to deliver the most current business and management practices to the students. Particular emphasis is given to strategy through the ability to view all the functional disciplines as one integrated business case.

• The 1 ½ year duration of Linton’s MBA programme allows graduates to complete the programme at an accelerated pace and develop their career to the fullest potential to create an impact to the industry.
• The instructors are highly qualified with wide range of expertise and knowledge. They are specifically picked through rigorous selection process to ensure that real-world experiences and latest developments in management research are effectively shared.
