Electronics is at the heart of most modern industries, activities and communications systems. Students that are awarded a BEng (Hons) degree will be able to work in a very wide variety of disciplines. These include areas such as radio and television, sound recording, the electricity supply and telephone systems. Many other industries rely on electronics, computing and IT such as banking and manufacturing companies producing a wide variety of products.
The Electrical and Electronic Engineering programmes at University of East London (UEL) have proved to be popular for many years. UEL developed programmes that are current and will give you the opportunity to develop their understanding and skills. With very good facilities for laboratory and practical work, students will be able to reinforce the theories and practices learnt in the classroom via ‘hands on’ experience. This programme offer student the opportunity to study the fundamental knowledge and theories required by all Electronic and Electronics Engineers and apply these to the practical work environment.

Main Intakes
The main intakes are conducted in September, January and May of each year.
Any one of the following qualifications:
- Pass STPM / GCE ‘A’ Level with 2 principals or its equivalent with minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in Mathematics and ONE (1) relevant Science subject AND pass SPM or its equivalent with at least a pass in English;
- Pass relevant Foundation / Matriculation / Diploma / HND programme from other PHEI with Standards Minimum certified or Accredited with CGPA ≥ 2.0*;
- Recognised Diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technology or its equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.0*;
- Recognised related Vocational and Technical / Skills Diploma with minimum CGPA 2.0 AND pass in English at SPM level*;
- Pass SMIII (UEC) with minimum 5Bs including Mathematics*;
- Other equivalent qualifications recognized by Malaysian Government*;
- Other equivalent foreign qualifications recognized by Malaysian Government*.

- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): minimum score of 550 (PBT) or 213 (CBT) or 79 – 80 (iBT)
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS): minimum overall Band 6.
- Malaysian University English Test (MUET) : minimum Band 6.
The test must be taken no more than two years before the start of your studies at Legenda.
