Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering equips students with a comprehensive coverage of electrical and electronics theory and practice. It is designed to give a broad understanding of the electronics industry whilst allowing student to develop his or her own specialist skills during the second year.

The programme focuses on six broad areas: business management techniques, analytical methods for engineers, engineering science, engineering design, project and electrical and electronic principles. This programme prepares students for a choice of careers as Technician Engineers in areas such as computer systems development, industrial electronics, communications engineering and electronic design and development or may alternatively opt to further study for a degree.

Students are actively encouraged to participate in work experience during the course and this usually involves a work-based project. Using the ‘hands-on’ approach, this programme has good employment prospect within and outside Malaysia.
